Archbishop Gomez’s pastoral letter on Guadalupe: “The Wonder of America”

On Oct. 22, 2026, Archbishop José H. Gomez of Los Angeles published his new pastoral letter titled “The Wonder of America” in preparation for the 500th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The letter, published exclusively in print by Angelus, is a deep reflection on what the Guadalupe miracle means for our own lives and for the Christian mission in America. It can be used as a teaching tool, a study resource, or simply enjoyed as spiritual reading.
